is awesome.
She's the frontwoman of the Canadian dance-punk band Metric, but has recently done some solo work which is, in my opinion, much better. Over the past week or so I've been listening to her spooky piano led album 'Knives Don't Have Your Back' which she made with a group of musicians called 'The Soft Skeleton'. The first two tracks in particular are spellbinding, I'm still waiting for the others to work their magic on me though. No doubt they will in time.

You never told me she was in Metric. That's why she looks vaguely familiar. I seem to recollect liking Metric but I can't really remember so don't hold me to it!
