| Firstly, let me say. MY GOD THAT MAN CAN SING. For I feared that live, he might actually not be that good.. My presumptions have now been proved wrong. THANK GOD.
Anyhoo. Oh Lordy. That was one heck of a gig, I'll tell you.
Circa Survive are probably one of the best support acts I've seen. Of that kind, anyway. Absolutely brilliant. (Myspace) He has a high voice like Greg it's cool.
Anyhoo, onto 30.
After CS went offstage, me and Naomi went as close as we could. And it was pretty close. Unfortunately later into the gig more and more people pushed infront so we went back to where my brother was standing and raved up there. We could still see, but not aswell as we had before.
Setlist:
A Beautiful Lie The Battle For One (omag yes) From Yesterday The Story (yesss) The Kill Was It A Dream? (don't play this one often apparently.. wooop) Savior A New Song (no idea of name?) lol Attack Modern Myth (with Tomo on a violin) Echelon (on the forum everyone who didn't go seemed envious that this was played.. guessing they don't play it often lol) and The Fantasy
Not really in order lol!
Yes, Tomo with a violin. Quite interesting to see I have to say.
There were also ballerinas and even an opera singer who me and Naomi thought we'd seen before - and we had! He'd been the security guard next to us! 'Cos as 30 came out to their entrance music (opera stuff) that guy was singing along! Haha. Cool.
Jared also jumped into the audience and had a lil' rave on someone's shoulders. Then he like got buried underneath everyone and had to climb out *is envious of all who touched him*
And from now on, I won't be mean to Shannon. He is actually a brilliant drummer (my brother even said so, he's gotta be pretty good to impress him lmao) and Tomo and Timmy were greaaat! I love them all!
I was so happy to hear BFM and Echelon, anyway. true highlights to my evening. ahaha
and I got a tshirt lol It's a bit awesome lol.
