| Basically...
got an ipod yesterday.
connected it to computer.
itunes already installed a few months back.
all was fine.
now, pc is buggered.

| probably isn't your iPod. your pc may have buggered of it's on accord | |

| hmm,did you connect your iPod to a Mac computer before you connected it to your pc? I know that I did it once,with my friends mac and i had to reinstall iTunes and restore my iPod. Try reinstalling iTunes,that may help | |

| Hmm it seems to be ok at the moment (apart from the odd freezing and slowness) but now I have another porblem- when converting videos onto my ipod, they work but without sound. I think it may be because of their format, which setting should videora be on to convert the videos with sound? | |

| I had the same problem,they should be in mpeg-4 format. | |
