at Brighton Pavillion were absolutely awesome.
It was such a tiny venue, must have only been about 100 people there, and I was therefore in the front row with lots of space. Fields were everything I expected them to be and more: ferocious, loud yet melodic, captivating and generally brilliant. Only thing that annoyed me was that they didn't play my favourite track (Skulls and Flesh and More) but meh they can be forgiven as they did play The Death.
And the support band (Hush The Many, Heed The Few) were also pretty good, like Arcade Fire with a cello. Quite dramatic.
Unfortunately, my phone was dead before I left, and the camera died a minute after Fields came on.
So I only managed to get 2 (crappy) photos:

Both these two lovelies were wondering around after the gig, talking to people. I was so tempted to talk to them (Mattie mainly...) but they seemed to know everyone there and I kinda didn't want to interrupt...
Absolutely knackered afterwards ( most probably due to getting chased by a man crazy man making bird noises, and that was before we'd even got to the place) and the fact that we got back at half 1, but it really really was worth it.
HAPPY DAYS!
