The legendary festival split over two days.
The two headlining bands this year were Paramore and 30STM.
One band headlines in Sheffield and the other at Earl's Court
and swaps over the next day.
Me, Lucy and Naomi went to the Earl's Court Day on Sunday 11th.
When 30STM were headlining.

My ratings of the bands who played and what I thought:

Mexicolas: 8/10
- new band, were pretty good for the first band too.
Four Year Strong: 6/10
- kinda passed me by, but still able to listen to them.
didn't know their name until I looked them up...
The Color Fred: 8/10
- very good, I liked them alot.
Envy On The Coast: 9/10
- fantastic. original and unique. superb drumming also.
State Radio: 5/10
- i didn't particularly like them, a bit boring but not too bad.
Strike Anywhere: 5/10
- again. passed me by. not really too special or anything.
You Me At Six: 8/10
- was impressed with the perfomance. they're good at what they do.
The Blackout: 4/10
- didn't like them really. and i didn't before. also a bit mean to their own fans tbh.
Armor For Sleep: 5/10
- not too bad, didn't pay too much attention to them.
Silverstein: 5/10
- again. not too bad. not awful lol.
AntiFlag: 8/10
- good performance, I enjoyed them.
Glassjaw: 9/10
- brilliant in what they do and their style. very much liked them.
Guitar Hero Event: 10/10
- fantastic!! barely any notes wrong and we beat a world record too!
Billy Talent: 7/10
- not too bad a band. but I didn't know them that well.
30STM: 1000/10
- purely down to being incredibly biased. fantastic.

Pictures to come soon. Very Happy

ooo i'm gonna do a band by band review too just for fun Smile
was an aesome day all in all!

Mexicolas: 7/10
Didn't see much of their set cos I was in a crush at the merch stand waiting to get my 30 t-shirt and wristband but what I saw I was impressed with.

Four Year Strong: 6/10
At no point in their set did they say their name but from what I remember they were pretty good

The Color Fred: 5/10
I wasn't overkeen to be honest becasue the singer made a bit too much of a play on the fact he used to be in Taking Back Sunday. Let the music speak for you! Music was alright tho.

Envy On The Coast: 8/10
I was really impressed with them considering I had never heard them before. The first thing that caught my ear was the complexity of the bass drum patterns and that the drummer didn't even seem to be having to think about them that much! All in all very good. I need to check out some of their stuff.

State Radio: 6/10
I quite liked them. They were a bit different although I suppose a little odd at the same time. I just thought it was unique and had a message too which was cool. Listening to them back on myspace I am not so keen tho.

Strike Anywhere: ?/10
Went to meet Beth's brother at this point so can't really judge.

You Me At Six: 6/10
Wasn't really playing attention while they were on. I'll give them a 6 tho cos they got a REALLY good crowd recption.

The Blackout: 3-4/10
Didn't treat their fans well. Wasn't over-keen on the music and they just generally anoyed me tbh. I still can't believe they told the people chanting their name to shut up!

Armor For Sleep: ?/10
Wasn't paying attention really. So can't judge.

Silverstein: 5/10
Was listening to them while talking. Had head of them before and music wasn't bad so an average 5.

Anti-Flag: 8/10
Actually made the ground shake! lmao. I really enjoyed their set. I vaguely know a few songs and know one really well. First band of the day I could sing along to!

Glassjaw: 7/10
Daryl had an impressive scream on him! A little too loud for my liking though. especially since I had a headache.

Guitar Hero Event: 9/10
Most notes were accurate. I don't know how anyone can get that good at guitar hero! And we broke a word record! Bigget audience for a video game performance ever!

Billy Talent: 9/10
I was really impressed with Ben's voice live and with the general feel of the set. I knew quite a few songs so had a really good time singing along and it really has restored my love for them!

30 Seconds To Mars: 10/10
Immaculate apart from Jared forgetting a few words but that really is forgiveable considering how amazing the atmosphere, music and performance were. 30 Seconds To Mars really are good all-rounders when it comes to gigs. From the first not of O Fortuna to the last of The Fntasy I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Indeed. I haven't really checked out if there are many professional photos around?
Dunno if you have?
